Canal

~~Lyrics~~
O'er the cana.
And past the exocutioner who's waiting for you.
Passing the spade.
With the constraints, holding you down.
Binding you to this world.
Over the canal.
And past the exocutioner awaiting, you.
You may not know, how to escape.
But the exocutioner will wait.
Always out of sight.
Barely out of mind.
Just out of your view.
If you turn, you might catch a glimpse of him.

Best for Me
02:58
|
|||
I don't know what's best for me,
I just keep bottling things up.
you don't know what's best for me,
But you think,
you know what's best for me.
You're not my therapist.
Nor are you my protector.
I need to figure things out on my own.
Feel free to support me.
Don't push it.
You're not a councilor.
You're meant to be my friend, there for me when times are bad.
let me rant.
Please stop thinking you know what's best for me,
You're making me lose my stride.
Making me come off time.
Only I can move forwards to change myself.
And change this chord that my life is strumming

Think Before (Choices)
04:55
|

~~Lyrics~~
There are some choices that you just can't take back, like popping a pill, or killing someone.
Or if you choose to walk out on your family, after a big fat fight.
you can't get back from that.
Or if you say something you don't mean, to your family, in the moment, 'cuz it sounded right.
but sometimes it's better just leave it two hours until the fight is over, when your having that argument inside your head and you realise you could have said something so much better, sometimes its better to leave those things left unsaid, 'cuz you don't know what, how that could affect someone.
Or if you take a drug you can't go back from that puff, or if you popped a pill, it's already in your system god damnit.
And once something in your blood stream you can't get it out
Same with alcohol.
Abstanance is the only way to have harm reduction.
Sometimes we just shouldn't have these substances,
But it's all contradictory as well, 'cuz there are certain circumstances where I'd agree that yes you should have them but theyre not for everyone
They've personality helped me very much but I never go harder than something I can't handle.
I've made my own fair share of mistakes,
Choices i can't take back, things that have changed my views forever.
There are some choices you just can't take back.
Once things are said they're out in the air now, sometimes they never can be unheard.
You say something that was meant to sound nice, it comes out sounding not very nice,
It could ruin Things forever.
Just think twice before you.
Do anything really.
Sometimes a chord sounds absolutely horrible played on the guitar, but paired up with another chord makes the progression sound beautiful. Sometimes there is coming back from bad choices, if you pair it up with a good choice.
But don't, hang on that hope.
'Cuz that, hope, it won't always be there.

Passing

~~Lyrics~~
Life passes you by,
Like dust under a subway.
Graffiti left on the walls,
To mark our passing.

~~Lyrics~~
Through the fog that cover your mind,
When your sad, and alone.
You do not know which way to turn.
It's for those we, light the way.
those forgotten souls,
Lost on a wayfair ferry.
Negative thoughts, grow like weeds.
In the soil of our mind.
Skipping stones, ripples, thoughts.
It's for those, we light the way.
Those endangered souls,
who have lost their minds,
to negative thoughts.

Kissing Gate
02:52
|

~~Lyrics~~
By the kissing gate.
Tell me the password,
And I will let you through.
By the kissing gate,
that I've known All my life.
I would run up to it everyday.
Come up with a password in my head.
And make my family guess,
and if they got it right, id let them through.
But sometimes my family got there before me,
And instead i have to guess.
Boy I miss those days.
From my childhood.
When things were easier.
Just like coming up with a password.
I'm now by the kissing gate.
